UAE dominate the Ukrainian egg exports

In January-May 2019, Ukraine exported 65.95 thou. tons of chicken eggs, 79 pct more from the prior year's comparative indicator.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine informs that in monetary terms egg supply is valued at USD 56,95 million vs. USD 28,11 million in January-May 2018.

The key importers of Ukrainian eggs in the indicated period are as follows:

• the U.A.E. — 17.64 thou. tons (USD 15,23 million);
• Iraq — 15.37 thou. tons (USD 13,27 million);
• Latvia — 6.14 thou. tons (USD 5,3 million);
• others — 26.79 thou. tons (USD 23,14 million).

Previously reported that only two Ukrainian companies had been authorized for export of poultry meat to the European Union.
