As of August 20th, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on the area of 9.9 million hectares or 65%. The crop reached 38.9 million tons using the average yield of 3.91 tons per hectare.

According to the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as follows:

  • buckwheat — 2 thou. tons on 2 thou. hectares or 3% (68 thou. ha) yielding 1.21 t/ha;
  • millet — 24 thou. tons on 13 thou. hectares or 12% (90 thou. ha) yielding 1.84 t/ha;
  • sunflower — 6 thou. tons on 5 thou. hectares of 5.8 million hectares yielding 1.35 t/ha.

Harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on the area of 9.9 million hectares or 99%. The crop reached 37.8 million tons using the average yield of 3.91 tons per hectare (2018: 3.47 tons per hectare).
