Harvest Online 2019: new crop sunflower reached 780 thou. t

As of September 2, 2019, 780 thou. t of sunflower were harvested in Ukraine on an area of 415 thou. ha or 7% of the forecast using the average yield of 1.88 t/ha.

By the reporting date, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine has been carried out on the area of 10.1 mln ha or 66% of the total. The crop reached 39.4 mln t using the average yield of 3.92 t/ha.

By the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as followed:

• early grain and leguminous crops — 39.2 mln t on 9.96 mln ha or 99%;
• buckwheat — 16 thou. t on 12 thou. ha or 18%;
• millet — 80 thou. t on 43 thou. ha or 48%;
• soybean — 154 thou. t on 69 thou. ha or 4% yielding 2.24 t/ha.
