Harvest Online 2019: new crop reached 59 mln t

As of October 21st, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was conducted on the area of 13.1 mln ha or 86% of the total. The crop reached 58.9 mln t using the average yield of 4.5 t/ha (2018: 4.07 t/ha).

By the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as followed:

  • buckwheat — 85 thou. t on 64 thou. ha or 94%, 1.33 t/ha;
  • millet — 151 thou. t on 80 thou. ha or 90%, 1.88 t/ha;
  • corn — 19.1 mln t on 2.9 mln ha or 58%, 6.63 t/ha;
  • soybean — 3.2 mln t on 1.4 mln ha or 90%, 2.33 t/ha;
  • sunflower — 13.3 mln t on 5.5 mln ha or 94%, 2.43 t/ha;
  • sugar beet — 6 mln t on 137 thou. ha or 62%, 43.7 t/ha.
