Potato import value exceeds USD 40 mln

Import of potato to Ukraine in the period of January-November 2019 totalled 207.1 thou. t worth USD 40.2 mln, the data of the State Fiscal Sevice of Ukraine proves.
In January-November, the major suppliers of potato to Ukraine are as followed:
- Belarus — USD 30.56 mln (76.08%);
- Russia — USD 1.68 mln (4.19%);
- the Netherlands — USD 1.67 mln (4.15%);
- others — USD 6.26 mln (15.59%).
In 2018 the country imported 5.7 thou. t of potato for the amount of USD 3 mln.
Imports of potatoes to Ukraine in November of the current year broke another record. In one month, the country imported 46 thou. t of potatoes.
