Egypt's GASC procured 60 thou. t of tendered Ukrainian wheat

The General Authority For Supply Commodities (GASC) of Egypt purchased 60 thou. t of Ukrainian wheat for Feb. 18-29 shipment, Reuters informs.

As traders report, Ukrainian wheat was sold at 231.16 $/t FOB (+14.77 $/t freight). The offer was submitted by Louis Dreyfus Ukraine.

60 thou. t of Russian wheat were purchased at the price of 231.95 $/t FOB (+13.50 $/t freight) and 60 thou. t at 232.48 $/t FOB (+13.50 $/t freight). 120 thou. t of Romanian wheat were purchased at a price of 232.48 $/t FOB (+13.50 $/t freight).

US or South American wheat was not offered.

At the last international tender on Dec. 10, GASC bought 355 thou. t of Russian, Romanian, Ukrainian and French wheat for Feb. 5-15 shipment.
