President Zelenskiy suggested foodstuffs export cap

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy instructed the Government to limit food exports for the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

"Restrict the export of food products in accordance with the list determined by the Government," Volodymyr Zelenskiy said in a statement.

The President of Ukraine also stressed that presently, in the situation of a global pandemic and the threat of the global financial crisis, the Ukrainian Parliament should adopt laws essential for the economy and implement tax, land and labour reforms.

As a reminder, since the start of 2019/20 (July 2019 – June 2020), Ukraine has supplied 43.27 mln t of staple grains to foreign markets.Agricultural products export from Ukraine (click for full resolution)
