Sugar export in Jan-Feb generated USD 10 mln

Sugar export shipment from Ukraine in January-February totalled 25.76 thou. t. The supply is estimated at USD 9.93 mln.
As reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, key importers in the period include:
- Poland: 6.53 thou. t, USD 2.38 mln (25.36%);
- Lebanon: 5.47 thou. t, USD 2 mln (21.27%);
- Romania: 5.1 thou. t, USD 1.86 mln (19.81%);
- others: 8.85 thou. t, USD 3.15 mln (33.57%).
In H1 of 2019/20, sugar export shipment from Ukraine stood at 47.6 thou. t, 80% less from the prior period's relevant period.
