Kernel confirmed compliance with ISCC EU

Kernel's agricultural enterprises have confirmed the compliance of production processes with the European ISCC(International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC)) standard, which opens up additional export prospects.

Independent auditors reviewed the Kernel's entire production and logistics chain, analyzed how farmland is used and how greenhouse gas emissions are monitored.

"This is a common achievement of a large team as 90 of our colleagues were responsible for the certification: they took pictures of equipment and storage facilities, made the required calculations, prepared documentation, digitized fields and added their geolocation to Google Earth," the company says in a statement.

Previously reported that Kernel plans to finalize the construction and commission of its greenfield crushing plant in Khmelnytsk region by the end of 2021.
