Barley yields 7 t/ha in Donetsk region
Agriproducers of Donetsk region started early grains and legumes harvesting, the Department of Agro-Industrial Development and Land Relations of Donetsk Regional State Administration reports.
As of June 30, 2020, agricultural producers of Manhush and Nikolsky districts are harvesting peas and winter barley.
- Agrotis has harvested winter barley on an area of 178 ha, the bulk yield is 925 t using the average yield of 5.2 t/ha.
- Ilyich-Agro-Donbass SE of the enterprise "Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after M.I. Lenin" has harvested peas on the area of 8 thou. ha, the bulk yield is 16.6 thou. t using the average yield of 2.08 t/ha; winter barley on the area of 39 ha, the bulk yield is 277 t using the average yield of 7.1 t/ha.
- Malinovka has harvested winter barley on the area of 262 ha, the bulk yield is 1.18 thou. t using the average yield of 4.5 t/ha.
It is noted that this year all categories of enterprises in Donetsk region conduct crop production on 577.4 thou. ha of farmland.
As a reminder, on June 26 agriproducers reported the first 100 thou. t of new crop. Winter crops (barley, wheat, rapeseed) were on 35.7 thou. ha on the reporting date.
