MHP opens 50 specialized meat stores in Ukraine by year-end

MHP agro-industrial holding will open about 50 specialized meat stores Meatmarkets (M'yasomarket) in Ukraine by the end of 2020. Stores have already been opened in Kovel, Sumy, Mykolaiv and Dubno.

In addition to a wide selection of fresh meat, the company notes, Meatmarkets offer consumers meat in marinade, sausages and other products that will save time for cooking.

"We want people to spend less time cooking and more time enjoying themselves at a delicious lunch or dinner. This is what the new store format is about. We are pleased that this approach is shared by both buyers and our partners. MHP received numerous requests from partners to open new format stores throughout Ukraine. It means that both MHP's strategy and its implementation are right and successful. We are moving forward!" MHP's press-secretary Iryna Vannikova commented.

Another store will be set up in Cherkasy on Aug. 28, in Kropyvnytsky and Kyiv in September.

Previously reported that MHP poultry production volumes in 1H 2020 increased by 2% to 359,931 t (1H 2019: 353,578 t).
