Sunflower oil export revenue totals over USD 3 bln

Sunflower oil export from Ukraine in Jan-July 2020 totalled 4.35 mln t for the amount of USD 3.18 bln, the State Customs Service of Ukraine reports.
Key importing countries in the reporting period:
- India: USD 798.4 mln, 25.08% of the total supply
- China: USD 453.7 mln, 14.25%
- Netherlands: USD 297.6 mln, 9.35%
- other countries: USD 1.63 bln, 51.33%
In the first half of 2020, exports of major oil and fat products (oil, meal, margarine and specialized fats, etc.) increased by 19% YoY to USD 3.7 bln.
Previously reported that despite the financial and economic crisis, quarantine brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the fat and oil industry in Ukraine is demonstrating production growth.
