SFGCU procured 380 thou. t of new crop

The State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine (SFGCU) is conducting regular grain procurement. As of August 12, more than 377 thou. t of grain of 2020 harvest have already been purchased from producers.

The corporation stresses that it works exclusively with reliable counterparties — agricultural producers or third parties — and implements its obligations to suppliers.

"All payments for the grain supplied are made on time," the corporation says in a statement.

As a reminder, SFGCU exported 73.68 thou. t of flour to foreign markets in the 2019/20 season, which accounts for 22% of the total supply in the period — 334.12 thou. t.
