Sugar beet processing started in Ukraine, Radekhiv Sugar launched production

Radekhiv Sugar in Lviv region started the 2020/21(September-August) production season on September 5. It is the first sugar refinery to start new harvest sugar beet processing in 2020.
"All preparatory and maintenance processes have been completed. The first shipment of sugar beet has been delivered. We hope for successful sugar campaign 2020!" the company says in a statement.
Under the data of the Sowing Online 2019/20 project, sugar beet area in Ukraine in 2020 totals 209.01 thou. ha.
Last season, Radekhiv Sugar was also the first facility to start sugar beet processing.
