Beet sugar production season joined by facility in Volyn region

Marianivskyi Sugar Plant, a subsidiary of Agro-Express-Service, started sugar production on September 8, Volyn Region State Administration reports.
"The plant's management has made a decision to provide local households and farms with beet pulp free of charge during the entire sugar production season," the message reads.
The administration specifies that sugar beet areas in the region cover 7.9 thou. ha. Two sugar plants will be launched in the region: Gnidava Sugar Plant and Marianivskyi Sugar Plant.
As of September 9, beet sugar production in Ukraine amounted to 1.76 thou. t.
