INFOCOM developed elevator automation system for Dacsa Bunge Ukraine

The company INFOCOM LTD developed a Control System Automation (CSA) software for the elevator at Dacsa Bunge Ukraine's corn processing plant, Elevatorist.com writes. The facility's processing capacity is 13 t of corn per hour. It is located in Demkivka village in Vinnytsya region.

The design for the controller and operator panels was developed using the Siemens TIA Portal integrated development environment, while the process visualisation for the workstation was made with Siemens WinCC 7.4 Professional.

INFOCOM also manufactured and supplied controller cabinets, cable and tray products. INFOCOM's production facility manufactured the panel equipment including switchboards, motor control cabinets, controller cabinet (PLC), distributed peripheral (ET) cabinets, lighting switchboards, and assembled local control panels and terminal boxes.

The company completed the installation and commissioning work and set up the soft starters.

Technologies used in the project:

  • Simatic S7-1500 controller
  • ET-200SP distributed peripheral modules
  • SIPLUS HMI KTP900 operator panel
  • Profinet industrial network
  • TIA Portal, WinCCProfessional

The plant was commissioned in early December 2020. The total investment of the project is USD 14 mln.

The construction works started in June 2019.
