World wheat production forecast for 2021/22 improved by 13 mln t: USDA
USDA experts forecast a 12.88 mln t increase in the global wheat harvest in 2021/22(July 2021–June 2022) to 788.98 mln t (2020/21 estimate: 776.1 mln t), the May USDA report data show.
Under USDA report, global wheat exports are expected at 202.42 mln t, 2.77 mln t more than analysts' forecast for 2020/21 (199.65 mln t). World wheat ending stocks in 2021/22 should increase by 0.29 mln t to 294.96 mln t.

USDA experts forecast China's wheat production in 2021/22 at 136 mln t, 1.75 mln t more than the forecast for 2020/21 (134.25 mln t), imports at 10 mln t, 0.5 mln t less YoY, ending stocks are forecast to fall by 3 mln t to 142.43 mln t.
Previously reported that USDA forecast for wheat production in Ukraine in the 2021/22 season was put at 29 mln t, 14.08% higher YoY.
