Astarta-Kyiv completed spring planting campaign 2021

Astarta-Kyiv agro-industrial holding has completed the spring sowing campaign 2021 in due course.

The company's current production season cropping plan includes:

• corn: 58 thou. ha
• winter wheat: 46.5 thou. ha
• sugar beet: 33.5 thou. ha
• soybean: 31.2 thou. ha
• sunflower: 27.9 thou. ha
• winter rapeseed: 7.2 thou. ha
• organic farming: 1.8 thou. ha

As reported, the condition of the crops is assessed as fair.

"The comprehensive preparation enabled the company to provide all farms with seeds, crop protection products and fertilisers in due time and in full, a new agricultural machinery was purchased. And the innovative multi-module agribusiness management system AgriChain helps us make prompt and productive management decisions and implement strategic planning," the company says is a statement.

This season, Astarta plans to increase grain intake volume from third parties. In 2020, Astarta's elevators received 811,000 t of grain.
