Farmland sold in Ukraine totalled over 19.3 thou. ha by 25 August

As of 25 August, the number of farmland sale transactions in Ukraine totalled 9,072, the Agrarian Ministry reports. The area of land under registered transactions is 19,356 ha.
The highest number of land sale transactions in regions as of 25 August:
- Kyiv: 1113
- Poltava: 918
- Sumy: 819
- Vinnytsya: 585
- Khmelnytsky: 582
Largest farmland volume sold in regions:
- Poltava: 2284,1 ha
- Kharkiv: 2197,7 ha
- Kirovograd: 1589,6 ha
- Dnipropetrovsk: 1523 ha
- Kherson: 1437 ha
The StateGeocadastre projected the cost of farmland in Ukraine upon land market opening with the highest being traded in Cherkasy region and the lowest in Chernihiv.
