Grain export 2021/22: wheat shipment 20% behind last season's
Staple grains export shipment from Ukraine since the start of the 2021/22(1 July 2021-30 June 2022) season has come to 6.49 mln t. As reported by the Agrarian Ministry, commodities shipment as of 25 August intensified by 127 thou. t, 2% up YoY (25 Aug 2020: 6.36 mln t).

The UGA informed about 48.8 mln t of grains and oilseeds export from Ukraine in the 2020/21 season.
In its July report, the USDA projects wheat production in Ukraine another 0.5 mln t higher in 2021/22, corn production projection was left unchanged.
As of 19 August, the new crop campaign was 98% completed. Agriproducers harvested 43.7 mln t of early grain and leguminous crops. The average yield stood at 4.44 t/ha.
