More than 20 thou. ha of farmland sold in Ukraine

As of 27 August, the number of farmland sale transactions in Ukraine totalled 9,430, the Agrarian Ministry reports. The area of land under registered transactions is 20,307 ha.
The highest number of land sale transactions in regions as of 27 August:
- Kyiv: 1240
- Poltava: 951
- Sumy: 852
- Vinnytsya: 620
- Khmelnytsky: 607
Largest farmland volume sold in regions:
- Poltava: 2395,5 ha
- Kharkiv: 2277,3 ha
- Kirovograd: 1738,5 ha
- Dnipropetrovsk: 1562,7 ha
- Kherson: 1530,6 ha
The StateGeocadastre projected the cost of farmland in Ukraine upon land market opening with the highest being traded in Cherkasy region and the lowest in Chernihiv.
