G.R. Agro grain elevator received first shipment of new crop corn

The first shipment of new crop corn has been received by G.R. Agro grain elevator in Dnipropetrovsk region, Vilnohirsk Elevator, Elevatorist.com reports.
The 2021 corn crop is taken in within the framework of the Free Storage for Agricultural Producers program.
Quality indicators of grain received:
- moisture: 19.7-21%
- black dockage: 3.9-5.8%
- grain impurity: up to 3%
"It is too early to make projections judging by the quality of a single shipment, as the active corn harvesting campaign in the region has not yet started," the company says in a statement.
The new crop campaign in Ukraine progressed to 63% of the projected area as of 26 August. The bulk yield of grains and legumes reached 44.4 mln t.
