Sowing Online 2021/22: rapeseed planting 75% completed in Ukraine

As of September 13, winter crops planting in Ukraine was completed on 356 thou. ha, 5% of the projected area (7.84 mln ha):
- winter wheat: 331 thou. ha, 5% of 6.68 mln ha
- winter barley: 10 thou. ha, 1% of 1.02 mln ha
- winter rye: 15 thou. ha, 9% of 160.65 thou. ha
Winter rapeseed sowing was 75% completed on 775 thou. ha of the planned 1.03 mln ha. This oilseed crop sowing was finalized in Vinnytsya, Volyn, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Cherkasy and Chernivtsi regions. The campaign is close to completion in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Luhansk and Khmelnytsky regions.
As of 9 September, the new crop campaign was 65% completed in Ukraine. The average yield of grain and leguminous crops made up 4.38 t/ha.
