Rapeseed planting 2021: largest sown area by regions in Ukraine

Winter rapeseed sowing in Ukraine was 86% completed as of 20 September. For the country's next crop, winter rapeseed is to be planted on 1.028,67 mln ha.
Rapeseed sown area in Ukraine in the 2021/22 season is projected to increase by 2%, 19.2 thou. ha (2020/21: 1.009,5 mln ha).

In 2020/21, rapeseed production in Ukraine reached 2.55 mln t on 1.11 mln ha. The crop yielded 2.29 t/ha on average in Ukraine.
Winter crops sowing in Ukraine was 17% done in Ukraine as of 20 September.
