Sowing Online 2021/22: winter crops 27% planted in Ukraine

As of September 27, winter crops planting in Ukraine was completed on 2.15 mln ha, 27% of the projected area (7.84 mln ha).
Sowing progress as of the reporting date:
- winter wheat: 1.95 mln ha, 29% of 6.68 mln ha
- winter barley: 126.72 thou. ha, 12% of 1.02 mln ha
- winter rye: 75.02 thou. ha, 47% of 160.65 thou. ha
Winter rapeseed sowing was 91% completed on 939.03 thou. ha of the planned 1.03 mln ha. This oilseed crop sowing was finalized in Vinnytsya, Volyn, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Chernivtsi regions.
Poltava region completed planting on 65% of the areas, Sumy on 53%, Ivano-Frankivsk on 51%.
The new crop progress in Ukraine as of Sept. 23 came to 46.4 mln t of grains and legumes on 10.6 mln ha. The average yield made up 4.38 t/ha.
