River grain terminal construction in Dnipro to be completed by end of 2021

By the end of 2021, construction of a 17 thou. t grain terminal will be finished in Dnipro. The facility will render storage services and ship agricultural commodities to vessels with a capacity of up to 375 tons per hour, the founder of Alef Vadim Ermolaev informs on Facebook.

"It is the city of Dnipro that is the farthest point from the Black Sea inland, where the Dnieper River is still navigable. This means that ships with a carrying capacity of 5,000 t can reach here. Such infrastructure is very advantageous for the region. We decided to invest in the development of the river terminal Akvarel. We want to turn it into an industrial logistics hub, integrating many commercial tasks," explains Vadim Ermolaev.

According to Vadim Ermolaev, the company reconstructed the berth to a length of 180 m, the depth reaches 4 m.

"Now all participants of the grain market — both large traders and small private companies — can get a highly effective logistics service here," Vadim Ermolaev adds.
