Sea ports in Ukraine pause cargo operations over extreme weather conditions

Four sea ports in Ukraine have restricted operations over adverse weather conditions as of 29 November, 08:00 a.m.

The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) informs that all ports in Ukraine are in operation, except the following:

  • the Port of Chornomorsk — restricted harbour pilotage
  • the ports of Mariupol, Berdyansk, Kherson — restricted cargo operations with grains (fog, rain)

Bystroye mouth, Bug-Dnipro-Lyman Canal (BDLC) and Kherson Sea Canal (KSC) are open.

Since the start of 2021/22, staple grains export from Ukraine has increased by 17.6% to 24.19 mln t.
