Ristone Holdings founder and chairman authorized by AMCU for distillery acquisition

The founder and chairman of Ristone Holdings agricultural holding Vadim Nesterenko was authorized by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) for the acquisition of a facility previously owned by the state-owned enterprise “UKRSPYRT”.

The enterprise specializes in the production and storage of alcohol. The production facilities are located in Cherkasy region.

In November 2021, Vadim Nesterenko received AMCU's approval of the purchase of an agricultural company Agrosilmash.

For context, two years ago President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the law on the privatization of state-owned distilleries. Before the privatization process started, the “UKRSPYRT” capacity was more than 36 mln decaliters per year. The company owned 83 distilleries.
