Agrotrade Group has started harvesting winter crops. In Kharkiv region, winter barley average yield makes up 6.59 t/ha, 30% above the planned indicator — 5 t/ha.

Winter rapeseed campaign was delayed on rainy weather in Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions. However, the company expects the conditions to become favourable for cutting rapeseed by the end of this week.

"We expect a good crop in all our winter crops. Even against war, we managed to apply fertilizers, plant protection products and to conduct consistent care for the crops," comments Oleksandr Ovsyanik, Head of Agro-Industrial Department of Agrotrade.

Late this week, Agrotrade is to begin winter wheat collecting in Sumy region, in the north-eastern part of the country. The planned yield indicator is above 5 t/ha.

Winter crops cover 26 thou. ha in total. The new crop campaign is to be completed by August 20.

To avoid grain storage capacity shortage, the company will use more polymer sleeves this season.
