The agricultural holding IMC completed the harvesting of winter wheat in mid-August on 18.3 thou. ha. The company produced around 123 thou. t of new crop using the average yield of 6.7 t/ha, which is the company's record and this indicator is 18% up on the 2021 crop.

"The war in Ukraine has made adjustments to all areas of economic activity of our company. This year's grain-harvesting campaign of the early grain group was no exception — part of the areas under winter wheat were mined in the spring, troops were directly stationed on other parts of the fields or hostilities were taking place, so we were not able to perform all the operations provided for by the technological map in the optimal time and even had to give up some technological operations. But the responsible and high-quality work of all the company's production team, as well as favourable weather conditions in the regions of IMC's activity, because the spring and summer in the northern and central parts of Ukraine were relatively cool and rainy, had a very positive effect on the grain forming and the formation of a good, record harvest," commented Oleksandr Verzhykhovskyi, Chief Operating Officer of IMC.

He added that the company was forced to minimize the involvement of hired machinery in the harvesting campaign, due to which the harvesting period took longer than planned.

IMC farms on 120 thou. ha in Chernihiv, Sumy and Poltava regions.

The company's market cap in the period August 15-21 totalled USD 119 mln having increased by 0.9% wk/wk.
