Agromino targets 500,000 tons of grain exports by end of season
Since the start of the 2025/26 marketing year, Agromino has exported 180,000 tons of grains and oilseeds, said Liubomyr Cheban, CEO of Trygon-Export, speaking at the Trend&Hedge Club.
In the previous marketing year, the company shipped 200,000 tons of grains and oilseeds on a CIF basis.
“From the beginning of this season through the end of December, exports will amount to 180,000 tons. By the end of the season, we aim to reach half a million tons,” Cheban said.
Last year, the company used third-party terminals for exports, while this year it relies exclusively on its own terminal. Agromino’s key export markets include Turkey, Egypt, and other African countries.
“The situation is very difficult due to shelling of railway and port infrastructure, which is causing vessel delays. Currently, there is a 7–10 day lag in meeting our plans. One vessel, for example, has already been pushed back to January because it physically cannot berth for loading due to congestion,” Cheban added.
