Russia attacks vessels in Ukraine’s maritime corridor and ports for fourth consecutive day

On the night of April 27, Russia attacked the ports of Big Odesa, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority reports.
As a result of the attack, an energy facility on the territory of a cargo terminal was damaged, and localized fires broke out. These were promptly extinguished by emergency services.
A merchant vessel sailing under the flag of Nauru, RAMCO, was also attacked while transiting the Ukrainian maritime corridor. The ship sustained minor damage, and the crew extinguished a fire onboard. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.
On April 24, Russian UAVs attacked a civilian merchant vessel that was en route via the Ukrainian maritime corridor to Odesa to load grain.
Two more attacks were undertaken by Russia on the nights of April 25 and 26. During those incidents, a civilian vessel sailing under the Panamanian flag was attacked while departing port, and another civilian vessel under the flag of Palau was damaged by debris.
