This was reported by Vitaliy Stavnichuk, director of the Department of Production, Research and Development of Agribusiness of Kernel at Kiev International Economic Forum.

"We are studying opportunities to build capacities for processing sunflower. We have long been working in the west, where we are developing other areas, elevator business for example. Now we are reviewing Khmelnitsky and Ternopil regions. There is no project yet," said Vitaly Stavnichuk.

Note: Kernel is the world's largest producer and exporter of sunflower oil, the leading producer and supplier of agricultural products from the Black Sea region to the world markets. The company accounts for about 8% of the world production of sunflower oil. It supplies products to more than 60 countries.
