Gluhov elevator of ROSTOK-HOLDING accepted 123 thousand tons of grain

In the current season, 123 thousand tons of grain were delivered to the Gluhov elevator, belonging to ROSTOK-HOLDING Group.

This was informed by Dmitriy Kupavtsev, the Chief Operations Officer of ROSTOK-HOLDING, writes Elevatorist.com.

According to him, soybean volume amounts to 7 thousand tons, sunflower — 16 thousand tons, wheat — 50 thousand tons, barley — 15 thousand tons. The enterprise also accepted for storage and processing 35 thousand tons of corn with an average humidity of 30%.

Dmitriy Kupavtsev added that an additional 90 thousand tons of corn is expected to be received at the elevator. Thus, the company expects in MY 2017/18 to make more than 4 turn-overs at the grain storage.

"Now the main task is to maximize harvest and minimize costs. Therefore, we do not rely on increasing the land bank, but on intensifying the production. This year we invested UAH 200 million in modernization of the machinery park and increase of the elevator capacity," the Chief Operations Officer specified.

Earlier it was reported that farms of ROSTOK-HOLDING Group harvested 34.6 thousand tons of sunflower with an average yield of 2.8 tons/ha (2016 — 2.7 tons/ha).
