In the next 5 years Avangard should double the export of eggs — Bakhmatyuk

In the next five years, Avangardco should double the export of eggs. This was informed by Oleg Bakhmatyuk, owner of UkrLandFarming (ULF) and Avangardco, in the interview for Interfax-Ukraine.

According to him, now Avangard is number one on the market. The company produces about 3 billion eggs a year and occupies about 50% of Ukraine's export volumes.

"Our proportion of sales now makes approximately 60% — Ukraine, and 40% — export. If you remember, when Avangrad was in the prime, the proportion was: 82% — Ukraine, and 18% — export. My ambition is that in a year we will have 40/60 in favor of exports," says Oleg Bakhmatyuk.

He noted that in terms of export last year the egg market grew very well. Last year, Avangard added 8-10 countries, although 6 countries are the base ones.

"Earlier Iraq occupied 70%, and the UAE — 20%. Now the UAE occupies 30%, Iraq — 30%, while other states hold 30%. Among them are Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, etc. The first couple of containers were delivered to Hong Kong. Plus the situation in Syria has calmed down a bit. Now we are actively working on the Asian market, this is about egg powder. And we are also slowly moving with egg powder to Europe," concludes Oleg Bakhmatyuk.
