Export of eggs in Jan-Feb increased twofold

Ukraine in January-February 2018 exported 15.45 thou. tons of eggs, which is 1.9 times more than the exported volume over the corresponding period last year.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) informs that in monetary terms egg exports totaled USD 14.97 mln compared to USD 6.99 mln in January-February 2017.

The main importers of Ukrainian eggs are the United Arab Emirates (USD 5.85 million), Iraq (USD 3.07 million) and Qatar (USD 1.27 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 6.04 tons, 3.17 tons and 1.31 tons, respectively.

Previously it was reported that Czech egg producers assumed that Avangardco with its low prices will be able to drive both Czech and Polish producers out of the market.
