Agrofusion launches tomato powder plant in 2018

In the current year, Agrofusion plans to launch a tomato powder plant in Snigirevka of Nikolaev region, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"This year in Snigirevka we are building a plant for the production of tomato powder since it is a very popular product. Today this project is discussed with international financial institutions," Ivan Sakal, Chief Financial Officer of Agrofusion, informs.
According to him, the company projects to begin construction of the fourth tomato processing plant in 3 years. Agrofusion is considering the possibility of investing UAH 2 billion in the fourth tomato processing plant.
"The amount of funds that the company invests in development this year is now being discussed with our financial partners. I think the volume of investments will be UAH 1.2-1.3 billion," Ivan Sakal specifies.
Earlier it was reported that Agrofusion obtained the certificates of tomatoes and tomato paste conformity to the Japanese Organic Standard JAS.
