38.6 MT of Ukrainian grain delivered to foreign markets

Since the start of MY2017/18, as of June 20, 2018, grain exports from Ukraine amount to 38.63 million tons, which is 4.19 million tons less than over the corresponding period last year.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine informs that the export of wheat declined to 16.64 million tons (–432 thou. tons), barley exports dropped 1.083 million tons to 4.21 million tons and corn was traded abroad in the amount of 17.37 million tons (–2.59 million tons).

Export of rye in the reporting period is estimated at 36.8 thou. tons.

Previously it was reported that as of June 18, the first 10.5 thou. tons of winter wheat have been threshed from 4 thou. hectares. Agrarians of Mykolayiv, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions started winter wheat harvesting.
