Ukraine exported over 5 million tons of grain since 2018
The State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection reports that since the beginning of 2018/19, Ukraine has exported more than 5 million tons of grain crops, in particular, more than 2.6 million tons of wheat.
It specifies that Ukraine has exported almost 1.6 million tons of bread wheat, over 1 million tons of forage wheat, 1.2 million tons of barley and 1 million tons of corn.
The Service indicates that over the same period of 2017/18 MY, Ukraine exported more than 5.7 million tons of grain, namely, almost 3 million tons of wheat (over 1.4 million tons of bread wheat and almost 1.5 million tons of forage wheat), 1.7 million tons of barley, and more than 1 million tons of corn.
Within the current marketing year, Ukraine exported more than 910 thousand tons of oilseeds. During the same period last year, the export of oilseeds was 581 thousand tons.
It should be reminded that the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and participants of the grain market signed a Memorandum of Understanding for 2018/19.
