Grain export 2018/19: supplies exceed 20 mln t

Since the start of MY2018/19, as of December 12, Ukraine exported 20.41 mln tons of grain, which is 2.14 mln tons more than the indicator for the last year's comparative period.

According to the data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the volumes of exported crops are as follows:

• wheat — 9.7 million tons (0.88 mln tons less y-o-y);
• corn — 7.26 million tons (3.37 mln tons more y-o-y);
• barley — 3.08 million tons (0.66 mln tons less y-o-y);
• rye — 73.7 thou. tons.

The total agreed indicative volume of wheat exports from Ukraine is 16 million tons, that is milling and fodder wheat will be exported in equal volumes — 8 million tons each.
