NIBULON shipped a record volume of products over the years

In the first half of MY2018/19, NIBULON shipped the largest export volume ever, having supplied 3 million tons of products to foreign markets. The company plans to complete the current marketing year with a record figure of 6 million tons.

For comparison, the previous record year for the company was MY2009/10. Then, in the first half of the year, NIBULON exported more than 2.44 million tons, and the total volume approached 4.8 million tons. The results of this season are already exceeding the company's previous numbers.

The highest rate of shipment was 554.4 thou. tons of grain in December 2018.

According to Dmitriy Furda, chief trader at NIBULON, despite the general tendency to decrease in demand and increased competition among the main exporting countries, the company manages to win new sales markets year after year. So, due to the high quality of the products supplied by NIBULON, as well as compliance with all the necessary food safety standards, in MY2018/19 the company managed to enter the markets of Northern Europe.

“In the current marketing year, our company for the first time delivered products to countries such as Finland, Denmark and Norway, and developed strong connections with regional consumers. The company's products received positive feedback from importers, and we expect an increase in deliveries to this region in the future,” Dmitriy Furda commented.

He also added that every year NIBULON's deliveries to the EU countries make up an increasing share of the company's total exports. In the first half of MY2018/19, this share was 35.5% against 11.3% in the corresponding period last year. The top five importing countries are Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, France and Denmark. This season, the company resumed deliveries to Germany and began negotiations with Sweden.

Traditionally, the company keeps on developing the eastern direction of exports and increasing the volume of supplies to China, Indonesia and other countries of Southeast Asia. In this MY, NIBULON first shipped corn to India.
