Ukrsugar Association named TOP-10 exporters in 2018

By the results of 2018, Radekhiv Sugar (Pfeifer & Langen) leads among sugar exporters having supplied 150.9 thou. tons for the amount of USD 55 mln, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) informs.

The top 10 exporters of sugar in 2018 are as follows:

  1. Radekhiv Sugar (Pfeifer & Langen) — 150.9 thou. tons (USD 55 mln);
  2. Tsukoragroprom (Astarta-Kyiv) — 65.8 thou. tons (USD 28.3 mln);
  3. the FC Podillya (Ukrprominvest Agro) — 60.7 thou. tons (USD 20.4 mln);
  4. Teofipol Sugar Plant (Ukraine-2001) — 50.2 thou. tons (USD 18.7 mln);
  5. the FC Zoria Podillya (Ukrprominvest Agro) — 37.7 thou. tons (USD 18.7 mln);
  6. Novoorzhytsky Sugar Refinery (Astarta-Kyiv) — 34.5 thou. tons (USD 13 mln);
  7. Elite Railways — 23.9 thou. tons (USD 8 mln);
  8. ED&F Man Ukraine — 20.5 thou. tons (USD 8.5 mln);
  9. Novoivanivsky Sugar Plant (Astarta-Kyiv) — 15.2 thou. tons (USD 6.2 mln);
  10. Melagrain — 12.8 thou. tons (USD 4.3 mln).

As of January 21, 2019, mills in Ukraine processed 12.58 million tons of sugar beet. 1.71 million tons of sugar were produced by the reporting date.
