Grain export 2018/19: deliveries exceed 42 million tons

Grain exports from Ukraine as of May 3rd reached 42.4 million tons. The Agrarian Ministry reports the following volumes of exported crops:

• wheat — 14.3 million tons;
• corn — 23.9 million tons;
• barley — 3.4 million tons;
• rye — 0.88 million tons.

In addition, the export of flour reached 242 thou. tons which amounts to 323 thou. tons in terms of grain.

As of May 2nd, 2019, early spring grain and leguminous crops sowing was completed on the area of 2.1 million hectares.
