Harvest Online 2019: crop stepped over 13 mln t

As of July 10th, harvesting early grain and leguminous crops have been carried out on the area of 3.9 million hectares (40 percent). The crop has reached 13.1 million tons of grain.

According to the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as follows:

• winter wheat — 8.6 million tons on 2.5 million hectares or 37 percent of the forecast;
• barley — 4.1 million tons on 1.2 million hectares or 49 percent of the forecast;
• peas — 447 thousand tons on 204 thousand hectares or 71 percent of the forecast;
• winter rapeseed — 1.4 million tons on 649 thousand hectares or 50 percent of the forecast.

In Kherson region, the cropping 2019 campaign has been delayed due to the lack of harvesting machinery in the region.
