Harvest Online 2019: campaign complete on 35 pct of areas

As of July 8th, all regions in Ukraine have started harvesting early grain and leguminous crops. Field works have been carried out on the area of 3.4 million hectares (35 percent) resulting in 11.3 million tons of harvested grain.

According to the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as follows:

• winter wheat — 7.3 million tons on 2.1 million hectares or 32 percent of the forecast;
• barley — 3.6 million tons on 1.1 million hectares or 43 percent of the forecast;
• peas — 402 thousand tons on 187 thousand hectares or 66 percent of the forecast;
• winter rapeseed — 1.1 million tons on 519 thousand hectares or 40 percent of the forecast.
