Harvest Online 2019: crop progressed to 20 million tons

By July 17th, harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on the area of 5.6 million hectares or 58%. The crop reached 19.7 million tons.

According to the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as follows:

  • winter wheat — 13.8 million tons on 3.7 million hectares or 57% yielding 3.67 t/ha;
  • barley — 5.3 million tons on 1.6 million hectares or 65% yielding 3.23 t/ha;
  • peas — 524 thou. tons on 232 thou. hectares or 82% yielding 2.26 t/ha;
  • rye — 20 thou. tons on 8 thou. hectares  or 7% yielding 2.52 t/ha;
  • oats — 7 thou. tons on 3 thou. hectares or 2% yielding 2.21 t/ha;
  • winter rapeseed — 2.2 million tons on 952 thou. hectares or 74% yielding of 2.33 t/ha.
