Harvest Online 2019: grain crops 50 pct harvested

By July 15th, harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on the area of 5.1 million hectares or 52%. The crop reached 17.4 million tons.

According to the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as follows:

  • winter wheat — 12 million tons on 3.3 million hectares or 51% yielding 3.59 t/ha;
  • barley — 4.9 million tons on 1.5 million hectares or 61% yielding 3.24 t/ha;
  • peas — 497 thou. tons on 223 thou. hectares or 78% yielding 2.23 t/ha;
  • rye — 16 thou. tons on 6 thou. hectares  or 5% yielding 2.58 t/ha;
  • oats — 5 thou. tons on 2 thou. hectares or 1% yielding 2.23 t/ha;
  • winter rapeseed — 1.9 million tons on 838 thou. hectares or 65% yielding of 2.26 t/ha.
