Ukraine improved flour supplies

Flour export deliveries from Ukraine since the start of 2019/20 have grown to 17.4 thousand tons vs. the prior year's comparative indicator of 15.04 thousand tons.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that by July 19th exports have reached the following indicators:

  • wheat flour — 17.2 thousand tons (up 15.3 thousand tons from the comparative period of 2018/19);
  • other types of flour — 0.2 thousand tons (up 0.1 thousand tons).

Flour exports in the 2018/19 season reached 301.4 thousand tons vs. 413 thousand tons in 2017/18.

By July 19th, harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on the area of 6.1 million hectares or 63%. The crop reached 21.6 million tons.
