Harvest Online 2019: eight regions completed early grains campaign

By August 8th, harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on the area of 9.5 million hectares or 95%. The crop reached 36.5 million tons.

According to the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as follows:

• winter wheat — 26.9 million tons on 6.5 million hectares or 96% yielding 4.13 t/ha;
• barley — 8.5 million tons on 2.5 million hectares or 95% yielding 3.4 t/ha;
• peas — 586 thou. tons on 257 thou. hectares or 99% yielding 2.28 t/ha;
• rye — 273 thou. tons on 100 thou. hectares or 85% yielding 2.73 t/ha;
• oats — 279 thou. tons on 111 thou. hectares or 61% yielding 2.5 t/ha;
• winter rapeseed — 3.1 million tons on 1.2 million hectares or 99% yielding of 2.46 t/ha.
