Grain export 2019/20: wheat shipment nears 11 mln t

Since the start of 2019/20, Ukraine exported 17.94 mln t of staple crops. As of October 28th, commodities shipment increased 4.99 mln t (38.55%) from the prior year's comparative period.
By the data of the Agrarian Ministry, grain export shipment in the reporting period are as followed:
- wheat — 10.92 mln t (3.52 mln t more y-o-y);
- barley — 3.2 mln t (534 thou. t more y-o-y);
- corn — 3.59 mln t (950 thou. t more y-o-y);
- rye — 5 thou. t (58 thou. t less y-o-y).
In the 2018/19 season, grain exports from Ukraine reached 49.74 mln t. This volume is 21% (10.37 mln t) higher from the indicator for the 2017/18 comparative period (39.37 mln t).
Earlier it was reported that Zahidny Bug company finalized harvesting soybean on the area of 8.11 thou. ha. The crop reached 24.95 thou. t using the average yield of 3.07 t/ha.
